Format
of Research Paper
The
research paper should have a format
as given below
1) Typing and Printing
2) Margin
3) Spacing
4) Page Number
5) Tables
6) Proof Reading
7) Binding
8) Electronic Submission
9) Heading and Title
1)
Typing and Printing: - The
researcher must type his / her work
in a good and quality paper. He/ She
must choose a standard, easily readable
type face (Times Roman) and type size
(12 point). And print should be on one
side of paper only.
2) Margin: - Except
for page numbers, leave margins of one
inch at the top and bottom and on both
sides of the text. Indent the first
word of a paragraph one half inch from
the left margin.
3)
Spacing: - A research paper
must be double spaced through out, including
quotations, notes and the list of works
cited.
4)
Page Number: - Number all pages
throughout the research paper in the
upper right hand corner, one half inch
form the top and flush with the right
margin. Type your last name before the
page number as a precaution in case
of misplaced pages. Do not use the abbreviation
before a page number or add a period
a hyphen or any other marks or symbol.
5)
Tables: - The researcher can
use table during the research. She/
he can give the number to the table.
For example, Table1, Table2, and so
on.
6)
Proof Reading:- Proof read
and correct your research paper carefully
before submitting it . If you find a
mistake in the final copy, make the
appropriate revisions and reprint the
corrected page. Be sure to save the
changed files.
7) Paper: - Use only
white 8 ½ by 11 inch paper of
good quality. Do not submit work typed
on erasable paper.
8) Binding: - The page
of the research paper may get misplaced
or lost if they are left unattached.
The paper can be secured with a simple
paperclip, which can be easily removed
or restored.
9) Electronic Submission: -
There are at present no commonly accepted
standards for the electronic submission
of research papers. One should obtain
the proper guideline form the teacher
for the mode of submission and should
follow it closely.
Writing

We
can record our memories in the form
of a journal or diary. A journal is
written for ourselves that allows us
recording in detail whatever we have
in mind. In journal we can write whatever
we want without worrying about grammar
style or whatever. Journal can be used
for other motive as well like in writing
to discover or in writing to explore
